Melon & Turmeric Tofu Skewers

The secret to this recipe is the glaze: the Hodo Golden Turmeric Lightly Fried Tofu is pan-seared and then tossed in a zesty mix of lime juice and agave, creating a caramelized finish that pairs beautifully with cool melon and aromatic basil.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz) Golden Turmeric Lightly Fried Tofu
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp agave
½ small cantaloupe
½ small honeydew melon
½ small pineapple
15 basil leaves
15 appetizer sized skewers
Instructions
Slice the tofu along the score lines. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu and brown for 3-5 minutes.
Add the lime juice and agave and stir to coat the tofu. Let cook another 3-5 minutes.
Use a melon baller to scoop out balls of cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Slice the pineapple into bite sized pieces, similar in size to the melon balls.
Assemble the skewers. Place 2 pieces of fruit, one basil leaf, and one tofu cube on each skewer.
