Grilled Gochujang Peach & Tofu Skewers

Fire up the grill for a dish that perfectly balances bold Korean-inspired heat with the natural sweetness of summer fruit. These Gochujang Peach Skewers are a vibrant, plant-based meal or appetizer that comes together in just 25 minutes. The star of the show is the Hodo Gochujang Lightly Fried Tofu, which is glazed in a savory, spicy, and sweet mixture of gochujang, agave, and sesame oil before being grilled to charred perfection alongside juicy peaches and red onion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) Gochujang Lightly Fried Tofu

    Locate Product

  • 7 small skewers

  • 1 large or 2 small peaches, sliced into 1” chunks

  • 1 medium red onion, sliced into 1” chunks

  • To serve: fresh basil, lime wedges

    Glaze

  • 2 tbsp gochujang

  • 2 tbsp agave

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Juice of ½ lime

  • 2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or griddle to medium high heat. Soak wood skewers in water for at least 20 minutes.

  2. Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl.

  3. Skewer the tofu cubes, peach chunks, and onion chunks alternately.

  4. Brush the skewers liberally with the glaze.

  5. Grill for 8-10 minutes, turning once.

  6. Serve with fresh basil and a squeeze of lime juice.
