Stir Fried Yuba

Ingredients

  • 1 (5oz) package Hodo Yuba Sheets Locate Product

  • 1/4 tsp ginger, peeled and chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • Pinch of hot pepper flakes

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the yuba into strips or pieces. (Experiment to find a shape and size you like.) Set aside.

  2. Sauté ginger, garlic, and hot pepper flakes in vegetable oil.

  3. Add yuba. Stir fry over high heat for 5-10 minutes, adding water as necessary. As you’re stir frying, add salt. Yuba wants a LOT of salt, so don’t hold back!

  4. Just before serving, add a good dollop of sesame oil. That’s it! Delicious.
