Air Fried Tofu Nuggets

A bowl of crispy, golden tofu nuggets in three bold flavors—Chili Crisp, Gochujang, and Golden Turmeric—sits on a terra cotta table. One nugget is being dipped into a creamy sauce by hand, surrounded by drinks, toothpicks, and casual party vibes.

These air fried tofu nuggets will be your new snacktime go-to. Hodo’s new Lightly Fried Tofu comes in three bold flavors—Chili Crisp, Gochujang, and Golden Turmeric—each infused with tons of flavor and perfect to throw in the air-fryer. No fuss—just effortless crispy edges, bold spices, and tender tofu that tastes tantalizingly good.


Ingredients

  • 8-oz Hodo Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu

  • 8-oz Hodo Gochujang Lightly Fried Tofu

  • 8-oz Hodo Golden Turmeric Lightly Fried Tofu

    Locate Product

  • cooking spray

    Tahini Dipping Sauce

  • ⅔ cup dairy-free yogurt

  • ½ cup tahini

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • ¼ cup water

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all dipping sauce ingredients together in a bowl, until well combined. Leave to the side or in the fridge while preparing the tofu wings.

  2. Cut each block of Hodo Lightly Fried Tofu along the pre-cut lines, keeping the remaining sauce in the package to the side.

  3. Line an air fryer with aluminum foil. Spray lightly with cooking spray.

  4. Add one flavor of Hodo Lightly Fried Tofu into the lined air fryer, and pour over the flavor’s remaining sauce. Lightly toss and air fry at 400º for 5-8 minutes. After 4 minutes, pause the cooking and toss the tofu cubes again. Watch carefully after to make sure the tofu is crispy but doesn’t get too dark.

  5. Remove lightly fried tofu from the air fryer and place on a platter. Repeat with the remaining two flavors, cooking each one at a time and tossing with their remaining sauce prior to air frying.

  6. Once all tofu is crisped and plated, pour tahini dipping sauce into a small dipping bowl to the side. Serve with forks or cocktail sticks while warm!
