So simple, so delicious. The best way to savor the texture and sweetness of Hodo Extra Firm Tofu is to add extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Whether you are familiar with our block tofu or a newbie, this is the best way to truly understand this humble base to many of our products. We’re often told our extra-firm is easy to cook with, whether sauteed, deep-fried, or served straight of the package! Get to know the firm yet smooth creamy texture and the subtle sweet nuttiness of our tofu!

Hodo tip: use the best olive oil and the best salt you have in your pantry!


Ingredients

  • 1 (10oz) package Hodo Organic Extra Firm Tofu locate product

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice Hodo Extra Firm Tofu into “postage stamp” sizes as seen in photo (Trust us! It’s about the mouthfeel.)

  2. Drizzle on good EVOO then hit it with some sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
